Welcome

Many people are interested in obtaining a General Lines Agent Insurance License but are working full time and cannot arrange their lives to sit in a classroom for 40 hours. This Course was designed with these busy, self-motivated individuals in mind.

Students who follow the study process should be able to complete the 17-unit course in three months. At the end of each unit, the student will be given a multiple-choice exam. Experience indicates students should strive for a 90% grade on each of the unit quizzes; however a score of 70% or higher is a passing grade. The 90% grade average will help ensure that you pass the final exam at the end of the course. Unit quizzes can be attempted as many times as needed in order to achieve a 90% score.

You will be required to pass a Final Examination upon the completion of the 17 units. Your scores for each unit exam and your final examination score will be averaged together. You must have a final grade of 70% or higher to pass and receive your Certificate of Completion. Upon passing the course, please complete the Grade Submittal Form and your Certificate of Completion will be sent to you by the college through which you registered.

In order to pass the State Exam, you must take the test seriously and you must study the entire Florida State Study Manual.
